Gingerly

Challenge 53: Freebie: ‘Gingerly’

Decided to use this challenge to make a piece for the ‘Don’t Tell Mommy’ Erotic Art Show being held at the World Famous in Athens, Ga from 10/17-10/19 ( Why yes, that is next weekend ;D ) If you’re at all interested in attending the show, more info can be found HERE!

Overall It was a great opportunity for me to stretch my drawing legs a wee bit and try out some new tricks and techniques. It’s not at all what I had initially imagined when brainstorming the piece but I’m pretty pleased with how it all turned out ✨

Challenge 51: Spirit Animal: Rabbit
I originally planned on re-drawing my original Spirit animal illustration from way back when, but ultimately decided against it. Went with a more light hearted and fun little illustration with some 90’s high school flare ;P
Also tried to use a limited color palette but it went real pink REAL FAST (but I’m oki with that).

SC 43: Moon Invasion

Speed art HERE
I chose to focus on the influx of Sailor Moon merchandise that's come out over the past year in anticipation of the new anime that debuted on Saturday July 6th :3

Challenge 43: Re-Do: Boba

Speed art HERE

For this challenge I went ahead and choose Boba, a piece that's around 6.5 tears old (cringe worthy). But it had always been a favorite of mine and it was about time I revisited it! The end result is quite different from the original illustration but I hope y'all enjoy it <3

I had the absolute pleasure of working with the lovely Charlotte on this challenge, and I hope you enjoy the piece we created together (She came up with the awesome theme and composition, she’s a champ) <3

TNS: Rapunzel

Hey Guys! Made this Illustration for ImagineFX's monthly art contest, which was themed 'Disney Princess Pin-up'. Went a more modest route and referenced 'Moonlight and Roses' & 'A Delightful Date' by Gil Elvgren. Hope y'all enjoy it <3

Challenge 39: Ghostshrimp Contest: The Pastel Lady
This was actually my second attempt at Chris’ challenge and as you can tell i kinda went on a pastel overload. I’m not quite sure if it meets the parameters of the challenge but I had a lot of fun making this piece, playing with colors and subtle mark making :)

SC: 38

Upon hearing Charlotte’s theme I instantly thought of how much someone can change throughout their academic career. So I decided to create an image depicting me as I entered school and when I finally left (total of 19 years for me).

Challenge 35: Movie Poster: CJ7
Loved this challenge but had the hardest time choosing a subject matter and executing it how I’d like (originally suppossed to be a gif but my computers being a bit temperamental atm) XB
But if you haven’t experienced the magic that is CJ7 I can’t recommend it strongly enough. Seriously…..go watch it……NOW!!! <333

Challenge 33: 4th of July - Sparklers
I don't do a whole lot for the 4th of July since I've moved to Georgia.
If anything my night will consist of sitting/lying on the driveway and playing with left over sparklers from my wedding.
*Decided to try to make a gif for this one, deff something I need to mess with more often ;)

Challenge 31: Life After College- Family and Friends
Truth be told I don’t get to see my family or friends all that much. If I’m lucky I get to see my friends every month or two, and my family maybe once a year. So I’ve come to rely on the powers of FB to be able to interact with them on nearly a daily basis. It allows me to share stories, photo’s, laughs, and <3 with all of them and keep a smile on my face.

Challenge 28: Lyrical Inspiration

ToothPaste Kisses: The Maccabees

Cradle me
I’ll cradle you
I’ll win your heart
With a woop-a-woo
Pulling shapes just for your eyes
So with toothpaste kisses and lines
I’ll be yours and you’ll be

Lay with me, I’ll lay with you
We’ll do the things that lovers do
Put the stars in our eyes
And with heart shaped bruises
And late night kisses
Devine
